Get Health Coverage Now (gethealthcoveragenow.com) is the website of Byrd Insurance Services. In these Terms, "we" and "us" mean Byrd Insurance Services, and "you" means anyone using this website.
By using this website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
Who we are
We are a licensed independent insurance agency, not a government agency. We help people in seven states find health coverage, and our licensed agents help them apply for it.
What this website is for
This website does two things. It explains what we do, and it lets you ask a licensed agent to get in touch with you.
Where you compare plans and enroll
This is the part worth reading twice, because it is the difference between us and most sites that look like this one.
When you are ready to look at plans, your agent gives you a link to HealthSherpa. That is a different company's website, with its own terms and its own privacy policy, and that is where you compare plans, see prices, and enroll. Your agent is named on your application as the agent who helped you.
So there is no doubt about where each of those happens:
- Plans and prices are shown on HealthSherpa, not on this website. There is no comparison table here, no quote and no sample premium. If you see a price on this website, something is wrong and we would like to know.
- Enrollment happens on HealthSherpa, or with the insurance company. There is no application on this website and nothing on it to buy.
- What you qualify for is settled by the Marketplace and the insurance company. So is the help you can get with the cost. Your agent goes through both with you.
An agent does the advising, not software
We use software to take your details, work out which agent is licensed in your state, and pass you to them. Some pages have a chat assistant that can answer general questions and take your details.
Choosing a plan, telling you what you qualify for and enrolling you are done by a licensed agent, with your say-so. The software takes your details and finds you the right agent; those decisions are not its to make. If the chat assistant is asked something that needs an agent, it hands you to one.
Using this website
Please use this website only for lawful purposes. Do not try to break it, overload it, or get into parts of it that are not meant for you. Do not scrape it with automated tools.
What you tell us
Please give us information that is accurate and that you have the right to give us. We use it as our Privacy Policy describes and no more.
Permission to contact you comes from the box you tick on the form, and from nowhere else. These Terms do not add to it, and using this website does not give it. What you agreed to is exactly the sentence printed next to that box, and you can take it back at any time.
Our content
The words, pictures and layout on this website are ours. Please do not copy or republish them without asking.
Accuracy and liability
We try hard to keep this website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it is always either. Rules for health coverage change, sometimes in the middle of a plan year, and a page can be out of date before we get to it. Nothing on this website is legal, tax or medical advice.
The final word on any plan — what it covers, what it costs, and whether you are accepted — belongs to the insurance company and the Marketplace, and it is set out in their documents, not in ours. We cannot promise that anyone will be accepted or that any particular price will be available.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website.

Some of our pages carry a form or a chat assistant that another company runs and that appears inside our page. Those are covered by that company's terms, not ours, and we are not responsible for their websites.

We may update these Terms. The date below changes when we do, and continuing to use the website means the updated Terms apply.
